Here's the batch of rectangular icons that I did. I chose random stock photos in accordance with what took my fancy at whatever moment. As you can see, there was no theme in particular.

I watched the new Order of the Phoenix trailer about five times and most of this evening will be devoured by my making very many icons of those hi-res stills. More to come later. <3

Hello!

Redid the layout, elegant stylesheet by intocolor with very slight modifications by me. I'm adding a thin header.

I know that everyone and their dog does stock icons of clouds, but, well I don't care what everyone else does. I have a cloud fixation and nobody's stopping me! :P

Have another medium sized post of rectangular icons, thogh I am sifting through them to see which ones I actually like, still. x_ie uses rectangular icons and I have seen them cropping up (pun unintentional!) all over the place so la! The more the merrier.

Holy heck, a post! ...but only a wee one.
I became a temporary slave to Photoshop and decided to make some unusual Ravenclaw icons. Cut and paste and 'saturation' are my special friends. I wanted to do something different. That and this match between Aston Villa and Chelsea is pathetic.

I noticed that saturating the hell out of things followed by adding faux film grain is the New Black for icon-making.
So I made some that are saturated a weeee bit. And I felt like making humorous ones this time. Isn't it amazing?!

[5] Franz Ferdinand
[11] Harry Potter: mostly CoS with a couple GoF

16 icons are beneath this sentenceCollapse )

I was inspired to make FF and slashiness icons after a comment thread with laurel_tx last week? so the Franz is sort of her fault.

Anyone reading my regular journal has been aware of my recent Bleak House re-addiction. I am currently making loads more, actually, with the other characters. ^^;;
In addition to that, I volunteered to make a couple of Earl Cain icons for mangeusedetemps, though I went off and made a couple more.
Still working on a batch of Harry Potter icons!

21 icons in all:
[4] Earl Cain
[3] Imagine Me and You
[1] Cracked out flowers standing in from IMnY
[13] Bleak House

One evening while I was feeling rather tired, I decided to randomly look for stuff to read about Clémence Poésy (Fleur Delacour in HP & the GoF), and then I made a Friends Only banner out of the blue. :D;;

So I watched Imagine Me & You about a zillion times and also received it as a gift for my birthday on Tuesday, and I went totally spare and made many icons. I adore this film. ^^
